Shastra's reading

Keep new beginnings small on this day.

Ganda Yogam runs till 5.29 pm; Bhadra Karanam runs till 11.59 pm. No part of the day is clear of every caution. If something cannot wait, prefer a good part of the Gowri Panchangam and ask your family's jyotishi.

Daily archanai and worship need no muhurtham. For anything important, your family's jyotishi comes first.

Saturday 17 April: Pradosham.

Observance days as Tamil calendars keep them, set by Detroit's own sunrise, sunset and moonrise.

Full panchangam

For rituals and muhurtham, computed for Detroit by modern astronomical calculation (Drik, Lahiri). A caution's start is rounded down and its end up; a good window's start up and its end down. Underlined words open their meaning.
